Overall, an incredible program and totally worth the cost. Even if you're not a comic book artist, this program is great for sketching and illustration. Comic panel automatic masking - makes laying out pages super fast and clean. Automatic bleed lines - The program will set up bleed lines for you (you can customize it too) and will be consistent across all the pages.

Gute und umfangreiche Zeichensoftware, ideal zur Verwendung mit Tablett. Neben Pixellayern, gibt es hier auch die Möglichkeit Zeichnungen in einem Vectorlayer, also als Vectorgraphic anzulegen. Die Arbeitsoberfläche ist nur in engl. Sprache und sollte daher nur von Leuten genutzt werden die entsprechende Sprachkenntnisse besitzen. Als Einstiegesoftware bietet Mangastudio auch eine etwas komprimier

Eigentlich verdient es 5 Sterne, nur leider macht man sich bei Smith Micro nicht die Mühe eine deutsche Anleitung anzubieten. Man will zwar im deutschsprachigen Raum verkaufen aber keine Unkosten haben. Es gibt nämlich nichts auf dem Markt keine Videos, keine Bücher keinerlei deutschsprachigen Hilfen um den gewaltigen Umfang dieses Programms voll zu nutzen.

Manga Studio 4Ex was already my prefered tool for sketching and inking, but coloring was limited. In Manga Studio Ex5 they added several useful coloring brushes: from watercolour to oil paint, so now I don't have to switch around anymore to different programs.
